I was scared to death of what would become of this session!!! Ok, that's not true, either. I was TERRIFIED!!!! SIX kids, ages 9,5,4,4,2 and 1 month! YIKES! But know know what, IT WAS AWESOME!!!! Of course I can't show you the best of the best..... but hopefully this will hold you over till the rest are ready! ;) And let me just say, Grandma and Grandpa.... you sure are LUCKY!!!!! :)
Meet Baby Henry. Henry was a photographer's dream!!! Not only because he was the PERFECT newborn during our session, he is also the baby of another wonderful photographer, Amy Jones, of Speed of Life photography. I met Amy last year at a local photography workshop and I'm soooo happy I did. She and her family are soooo beautiful and warm! It was so fun to do a session with another photographer and bounce ideas and share thoughts. Congrats Amy, Bill and Hellen! And Welcome Baby Henry!!!!!

Such a fun session.... It was a birthday gift for grandma's "39th" bday..... But personally, I don't think she looks a day over 29!!!! :) Happy Birthday!
I have opened my calendar and am now booking session for August through October. These session typically fill up VERY QUICKLY with families wanting portraits for the holidays. November and December will be reserved for milestone sessions(maternity, newborns, 6 monthers, 1 year) etc only! If you are wanting a session for the holidays, please book ASAP to guarantee your desired time. There are limited weekend appointments.
Please note that sessions will not be done just for holiday cards. There is a $400 minimum print order before holiday cards may be ordered!!
We will be closed July 20 - August 8th. No print orders will be delivered or ordered during this time. There will also be very limited email contact, and no phone contact.

I LOVE first time parents; especially first-time dad's. They are always in such amazement of their new little ones, and for perhaps one of the few times in their lives, they don't mind having their picture taken. I also LOVE the way a teeny, tiny baby looks, in his or her daddy's strong arms. :) There such an unspoken promise of protection, love and warmth. :)

Just wanted to take a quick break from my normal blogging to wish my husband a Happy Anniversary! We've been married 11 years, and I truly feel so lucky every.single.day. I have an amazing husband, 3 even-more amazing kids and my life is just awesome!!! We aren't big on celebrating b-days or holidays for us, (we do for the kids, don't worry), but it sure is an awesome reminder of how blessed we truly are!

This picture was taken on our trip last year to celebrate our 10 year. It's all I could find of us, which is even a better reminder to take more pictures!!!
I really try hard to give each family a little time in the spotlight, but this week I'm super behind. So I'll skip the small talk and go straight to the stuff you all are really waiting for.......the long awaited sneak peeks! :)
And another adorable family.... this one was rushed to beat the rain....we BARELY made it!
And last but not least, the "M" kiddos.... who cracked me up to no end! This first , has to be one of my all time fav's for sibling pics. The boys were so-so on having their pics taken, but Big Sis was ALL OVER IT!!!! And how ironic, in this pic, the boys are grinning EAR TO EAR, and Big Sis....well...... she's isn't to "all over-it" anymore! :) I LOVE THIS!!!!
Meet Baby B. This little guy was wide-eyed and ready for the world. He did NOT want to miss this party, so he was awake *almost* the entire session. He wasn't gonna miss a thing! :) I think it turned out pretty ok! :)
